Through a variety of workshops and structures study sessions, the Collaborative Learning Center can help you get on the path to academic success. Students will learn to set goals, use their time more efficiently, and become better learners.

 

Introduction to the MCAT Informational Session

Monday, March 30th (6 p.m. - 7 p.m)

Join this Zoom information session for tips and strategies for preparing for the MCAT. These sessions will also discuss some free, low cost material that you can use to help you prepare for the tests. Register for the free information session and/or the two AAMC practice sessions

Research shows that students who learn how to annotate texts and lectures tend to significantly increase their grades while spending less time studying. This workshop teaches easy, time-saving annotation skills to replace underlying, highlighting, outlining, or copying text content, so you can learn more in less time.

 

Ace Your Exams

Many successful students feel that high school did not prepare them for some of the challenges of college work. This feeling often arises from students' post-exam shock and feeling that their exam scores do not seem to reflect the work they put into studying. Making matters worse, uncertainty about how to fix the problem, may lead to excessive anxiety before and during exams - anxiety that further undermines performance.
